| Duck Race and Fireworks @ Lyme Regis, Dorset | Friday 30th July 2004| If there's one thing Lyme doesn't have enough of, it's Duck Races and Fireworks. No, wait, that's not strictly true, but they were pretty big fireworks. And a big duck race too, far too big infact. All for a good cause (RNLI) of course, but when there's 900 ducks instead of 90, it makes it very hard to spot yours and almost impossible to track it after you have. We spotted mine (number 2, I got in there early), but lost it again a minute or so later. Abi never saw her's (number 50). Can you see it? By the finish line there was too little space to watch from and too many people, so on the basis that we probably didn't win we made an early exit! | | | | |
